Warm UV rays and vitamin D kiss my skin almost like my mother used to in the morning. The sky adorns a beautiful translucent hue of blue with matching water, while the waves that crash along the white sanded shore almost match the very few, far and in between floating marshmallows overhead. Twenty or so paces behind me, palm trees and other plant life ooze for a half mile down the coastline, in both directions, serving as a natural boundary lineas if it’s walling in secrets.

This view is sublime.

I don’t see how it could get much better, but the paradise continues to unfurl. Tucked away deep inside the lush greenery resides a jaw dropping fifty foot waterfallcomplete with a secluded natural grotto and an underwater cave. The freshwater takes my senses hostageand by surprise. It’s mesmerizing.

In the not too distance, I see fowls of different feathers play slipstream games amongst the rainbow created by the waterfall. While watching, I noticed that while most birds sing in different keys, it’s all the same song. One that I have yet to tire ofand I don’t think I ever will.

Dare I say that this new view is the pinnacle.

Then I discovered that I’m alone on this island.
