Jeanette Tran resides in Des Moines where she teaches at Drake University. She is currently writing a memoir, How to Murder Your Vietnamese Husband, a personal history and geography of Vietnamese marriage. Her essays have appeared in The Smart Set, River Teeth's Beautiful Things, The Coachella Review, and The Conversation.
