Finding a Character's Voice
This class will focus on the ways voice, character, and identity are inextricably linked. Participants will engage in exercises to create deeply human characters with distinctive, complex voices and perspectives. Class discussions will consider the political context of the writing craft and how the writer's identity informs the creation of characters.
